Those of you who follow MABCR will not be surprised to see yet another little scruffy face. Pippin came to us from our shelter partner in Louisiana, where she had been found after being hit by a car. Our partner had her injuries cared for - including an FHO - and treated her for heartworm, and she is ready for her forever home. Pippin will do best in a home with other playful dogs, a fenced yard, and a human that enjoys spending time with their dogs. She gets along well with dogs of all sizes, and is reportedly good with cats. She has lived with older children, though will not be placed into a home with small children only because we do not know her history. Pippin is housebroken, crate trained, and rides nicely in a crate in a vehicle. Pippin walks very nicely on leash, and while independent, is responsive to positive training methods.
