Life with Jak……

I found the MABCR when looking for the ‘right’ BC to bring into our home. We currently had two boxers sharing our home with us but being very active in agility I was growing very fond of the BC breed, their desire to work and the focus and trust they had for their handlers.

I have always believed in love at first sight and when I saw Jak and read his details I knew it was meant to be! After following the proper protocol and being approved I flew to Maryland to meet Jak and his foster family after a long flight home together the rest is history.

Since being sworn in as a Canadian, Jak and our lives have changed dramatically. He enjoys swimming, camping, hiking and playing with his new brother and sister.

In addition to these things Jak is very close at becoming an Agility Trial Champion of Canada! He takes his job very seriously and has proven his talent time and again for all to see. Agility is something that has brought us very close quickly, as his handler and mom he has come to trust me and gives me his heart and soul with every run we have together.

I believe Jak is a once in a lifetime dog. With every day we have together he continues to surprise me with new and funny things that he does and continues to make me laugh at all the silly things that he does.
